Kelly Kline, Economic Development Director
As Fremont’s Economic Development Director, Kelly Kline serves as a vital link to the city’s business community. Kelly has chalked up 20 years of city government experience with a special emphasis on business development, downtown revitalization and retail recruitment. She is passionate about creating a strong and diverse local economy and fostering public-private partnerships.
Kelly is an active participant in several Real Estate organizations, including the International Council of Shopping Centers and Commercial Real Estate Women. Kelly is also a past chair of the Silicon Valley Economic Development Alliance, a regional collaboration to promote Silicon Valley as a dynamic place for business.
Kelly has a B.S. in Journalism and Political Science, and a Master’s of Public Administration from San Jose State University. She is also a graduate of the Senior Executives in State and Local Government program at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.
